What items does The Urban Miner Project accept?

A good rule of thumb is pretty much anything with a power cord or battery.

Acceptable items include (but are not limited to):

- Computers/laptops
- Computer equipment
- Cellphones/tablets
- Media players
- Digital cameras
- Projectors
- Video game consoles
- Audio/visual equipment

How do I recycle my unwanted electronics?

You can submit a pickup request by filling out this form here. A representative will contact you as soon as possible to schedule your pick up.

What if I have sensitive information on my devices that I want to recycle?

We understand that privacy is important to everyone and we take that seriously. Because of this, we offer free data destruction to every client who uses our services. We use physical data destruction methods which have been proven to be safe and effective and we will provide data destruction certificates upon completion for those who request it.

If I make a donation to The Urban Miner Project, is it tax deductible?

The Urban Miner Project is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit electronics recycling organization. Any and all donations made to our company are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt when your donation is received.
